About the Commission
The Child Support Enforcement Commission was statutorily established in 1988 by the General Assembly to act in an advisory capacity on child support issues to the Governor, the General Assembly, the Cabinet for Human Resources, the Department of Law and the Administrative Office of the Courts. The Commission was also established, in part, as a forum to hear grievances and complaints and to refer these to the most appropriate agencies for action.
