Three years ago, the Kentucky General Assembly passed House Bill 454 by overwhelming bipartisan margins. This law requires abortion providers to perform Dilation and Evacuation, or D&E, abortion procedures in a more humane way.  The legislation does not ban D&E procedures. Rather, the law simply ensures the unborn child dies before the dismemberment procedure begins.

On October 12, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. EST Attorney General Cameron's office will argue before the United States Supreme Court for the ability to continue defending this law.
