You can show you care about our children and help fund the important work of others in our state who are providing services to victims of child maltreatment by going to your local county clerk’s office and requesting one of these specially-designed “I Care About Kids” license plates.
If you register a car or truck in Kentucky, chances are you are eligible to put an “I Care about Kids” license plate on your vehicle. There is an additional cost for the plate, and proceeds of sales go to the Child Victims' Trust Fund to help fund child sexual abuse prevention programs.
How to acquire this plate
At your
County Clerk’s Office, specify you wish this particular plate.
The initial cost, and the cost each time a new plate is issued, is $44.00. Annual renewal is $26.00. The plate decal expires in the customer’s birth month, just as with regular plates.
